Abstract

The concrete industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid development in line with the increasing construction activities in the country. As construction grows, the demand for construction materials also rises. SikaCim Concrete additive is a high-range water-reducing admixture designed explicitly for the concrete industry. This additive functions as a water reducer and superplasticizer, accelerating the concrete curing process and enhancing workability in the concrete mix. Various studies have been conducted to explore alternative construction uses, as concrete is a vital material in construction, especially as a primary component in widely used structural elements. Concrete has become a standard material in many construction projects. Good-quality concrete is crucial to ensure the success of a project, and one of the main factors influencing this quality is the selection of the right materials. Since concrete is almost always present in every infrastructure project in Indonesia, continuous research is essential to discover better-quality concrete that meets specific needs. This study investigates the impact of adding SikaCim Concrete on the compressive strength of concrete with a mixed grade of K 300. The method used in this research is based on SNI 63-2834-2000, which outlines the procedure for preparing standard concrete mixtures. Based on the test results, regular concrete (BN) at 28 days achieved a compressive strength of 301.38 kg/cm², higher than the target compressive strength of 300 kg/cm². Meanwhile, concrete with an addition of 2.0% SikaCim Concrete (BSC.2,0) at 28 days exhibited the highest compressive strength of 329.33 kg/cm².
