Abstract

The construction of toll roads plays a strategic role in enhancing regional connectivity and economic growth by reducing travel time and distance. However, the high operational costs of heavy equipment, particularly bulldozers, are a major challenge in such projects. This study focuses on analyzing and improving the productivity of bulldozers used in embankment work on toll road projects. Using observational and documentation methods, data were collected and analyzed mathematically to determine factors influencing bulldozer productivity. Results showed that the Komatsu D65E-8 bulldozer used in the STA 38+420 untill 38+450 on x toll road  project achieved a production rate of 1342.72 m³/hour or 10.741,76 m³/day with 75% efficiency. This productivity is considered high; however, further optimization can be achieved through better scheduling, training, and equipment maintenance. These findings are expected to provide valuable insights for improving heavy equipment efficiency in similar projects.
