RANCANG BANGUN ALAT PENYIRAM VITAMIN PADA TANAMAN HIAS MENGGUNAKAN ESP32 BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT)
Abstract
Tanaman hias memiliki peran penting dalam mempercantik lingkungan di Indonesia. untuk memperindah taman, halaman rumah, atau area sekitar. Beberapa tanaman hias yang populer di Indonesia antara lain keladi, bunga kol, anthurium, dan aglonema. Namun, perawatan tanaman hias memerlukan perhatian khusus, termasuk pemberian nutrisi yang tepat. Salah satu nutrisi penting adalah vitamin. Pemberian vitamin pada tanaman hias terlupakan atau tidak teratur karena kesibukan pemilik tanaman. Penggunaan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) menjadi solusi yang potensial dalam memastikan pemberian vitamin pada tanaman hias dilakukan secara teratur dan tepat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah alat penyiram vitamin pada tanaman hias berbasis IoT, sehingga perawatan tanaman hias menjadi lebih efisien. IoT sebagai infrastruktur jaringan global menghubungkan benda-benda fisik dan virtual melalui pengambilan data dan kemampuan komunikasi dengan sensor serta koneksi sebagai pengembangan layanan. Penelitian terdahulu telah menghasilkan berbagai sistem penyiraman otomatis berbasis IoT penyiraman menggunakan propeler. Alat yang dirancang dalam penelitian ini menggunakan mikrokontroller ESP32 untuk memastikan koneksi yang lebih mudah ke aplikasi Android. Pengujian alat menunjukkan bahwa sistem telah berfungsi sesuai perencanaan, dan Sensor kelembaban tanah dan ultrasonik dapat membaca data dengan baik, dan modul relay serta water pump berjalan lancar untuk penyiraman tanaman.
