Abstract

Aspek perkembangan jumlah penduduk dan pekembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi serta aspek pertumbuhan ekonomi sangat berpengaruh terhadap meningkatnya kebutuhan energi baik energi primer maupun energi skunder seperti energi minyak bumi atau listrik. Energi listrik yang merupakan energi skunder yang dikonversi dari energi primer misalnya gas alam, batu bara dan lain-lain, seolah tidak terlepaskan dari kebutuhan hidup manusia. Meningkatnya kebutuhan energi mengurangi jumlah energi primer yang umumnya tidak dapat diperbaharui. Energi baru terbarukan merupakan energi alternatif sebagai solusi penanggulangan menipisnya cadangan energi primer, salah satunya energi matahari. Penelitian dengan judul “Perancangan sistem Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) sebagai komponen pelengkap sistem Hybrid PLN - Sel Surya”, tentang yang merupakan komponen pelengkap dalam pemanfaatan energi surya ini bertujuan: . Merancang dan menganalisis Unjuk kerja ATS yang dibuat terhadap kaitannya dengan kapasitas beban serta mengoptimalisasi pemanfaatan sumber energi surya sebagai energi alternatif.
