Abstract

ABSTRACT

This study was conducted in gandus Palembang, the purpose of this study was to find out the parents’ perspective of Learning English to young learners. The method was Qualitative method. The population were 30 people as parents and the sample was 15 parents. The questionnaire and interview has been used to collect the data. And The data has been analyzed through descriptive method and displayed in the conclusion. The results showed that the parents support their children to learn English.

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Gandus Palembang, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perspektif orang tua tentang pembelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk pelajar muda. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Populasi adalah 30 orang sebagai orang tua dan sampelnya adalah 15 orang tua. Kuesioner dan wawancara telah digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Dan data telah dianalisis melalui metode deskriptif dan ditampilkan dalam kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua mendukung anak-anak mereka untuk belajar bahasa Inggris.
