ANALISIS HUKUM TERHADAP PERLINDUNGAN HAK ASASI MANUSIA DI ERA DIGITAL
Abstract
The development of the digital era has transformed the ways humans interact, communicate, and access information, while simultaneously presenting new challenges to the protection of human rights. The digital space provides opportunities for expression and public participation but remains vulnerable to excessive surveillance, hate speech, and information manipulation. The rapid advancement of technology often surpasses the capacity of legal systems to regulate it, creating gaps in the protection of human rights within the digital realm.
This study employs a normative legal method with an approach to both international and national legal instruments. The findings indicate the need for a comprehensive legal framework, clear standards, and effective enforcement mechanisms. Recommendations include strengthening regulations, enhancing cross-sectoral cooperation, raising public awareness, and promoting active participation of civil society in protecting human rights in the digital sphere.
